Grief doesn't come with a to-do list. Most people don't know what to send, so they send nothing, or something that misses.

This is where I put everything built for the after: sympathy gifts and grief care packages made to sit with someone in the hard, quiet middle of loss, not rush them through it. Whether it's the loss of a parent, a miscarriage, a child, or a loss of pet, or something that doesn't have a clean word yet, there's a box here that can hold it.
